Dr. Isabelle Brock, MD

Dr. Isabelle Brock has dedicated her professional career to the research and understanding of connective tissue issues, aiming to improve the quality of life and provide access to care for her clients.
Dr. Brock employs both Eastern and Western Medicine in her understanding of the body.
As the President and CEO of QoLify and The Dubois Institute For Connective Tissue Issues Dr. Brock has co-founded Clinical Paradigms and 3-Pillars Therapeutics for seeing EDS patients regularly.
As the Program Director for Centers and Networks of Excellence for The Ehlers-Danlos Society, she aims to establish networks around the globe to give patients with EDS better access to care.
Dr. Brock holds memberships to the Allergy, Immunology & Pain Management Working Groups of the International Consortium on EDS and its Comorbidities as well as in the AHEAD Coalition and the ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ Initiative of the EDS Society.
Dr. Brock currently serves as President for the Research & Study Group for EDS (GERSED) in France and is a member of the Belgian GERSED.
In addition to serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at the EDS Initiative – Deutschland, she is a member of the scientific committee of the Foundation for Research & Advocacy in Muscle Pain Education (FRAME) and formerly held positions as Lead Scientist at the Hospital Hotel Dieu de Paris, and at Ellasanté, Paris.
She holds a degree in medicine from Windsor University School of Medicine. Further education includes certification in diagnosis and treatment for Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS) from Paris Est Créteil University, and a certification in Ayurvedic Medicine for Medical Professionals from the Institute of Ayurveda & Alternative Medicine, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.
Further accomplishments include her having co-created and taught tele-courses on EDS for medical professionals and spearheaded the establishing of two clinics dedicated to helping patients with EDS and its comorbidities. Dr. Brock is the co-author of “Transforming Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome: A Global Vision of the Disease - The Epigenetic Revolution - Emergencies”.
She is a compassionate listener, a champion of diversity, and actively involved in LGBTQI+ causes.
She is fluent in English, French, German, Italian and Swedish.
